5XMom Is Selling Off Her Blog for US$12K

Yes, you read it correctly! That’s the price Chan Lilian has put on auction in SitePoint.

Is she crazy or what? Or give up on blogging? So, I read her post about this auction and the answer is found right in her blog post.

She is trying to achieve 2 things here: (If I guess it right from her quote!!)

Move out to the current blog and re-establish her new blog writing style and direction.
She is on hire and wants to become a guest writer to the new boss.

I know smart marketeers will see this as a good investment. What if they buy this up and hire me to continue blogging? It is a crazy idea but I know out there, many people are jumping into getting good blogs.

Google Update My New Blog As PR2 (It's 3 now)

Last night, I was reading other bloggers talk about the good and bad about Google Page Rank update in Oct 24. Immediate I read that, I am a bit curious to find out any update to my blog. I used ~~CheckPageRank.com~~ SmartPageRank.com to check Page Rank (PR), but it showed my PR is zero (0) last night.

This morning, when I was reading and replying some of the comments in my blog, I realised that PR has updated to 2 3 (Last checked on 15th January). I am getting a little bit excited over the quick updates over my blog page rank, eventhough this is a newly setup blog back in September (just merely 1 4 months). I went to check again, and it’s officially my PR is 2 3.

If you your blogs/sites didn’t show any PR changes, you can try to check later. If you are want to double check on other PR Checkers, just google it and you will find many other free PR Checkers you can use.

Meeting With Problogger – Colbert Low

My friend cum full time blogger, Colbert Low meet up with me in last weekend in one of the wordpress blogging seminar in Crystal Crown Hotel. He came together with 3 other friends.

I have been knowing Colbert since last year, our first meeting was in Mid Valley together with 4 others internet marketers. According to Colbert in his blog, he is the first blogger in Malaysia who joined an international blog network.

I am the first Malaysian problogger to join an international blog network at www.WeblogEmpire.com in 2005 and it is now part of B5 Media as of 31 Oct 2005

Indeed, this is a good session to catch up again especially I am conducting seminar about how to make money by blogging. I managed to ask him to share with some 10 people last Saturday’s seminar. He didn’t expect that i would asked him to share his experience as blogger. Although he is nervous at the beginning, very soon he told us how does he started off and his experience to work with b5 media. He has an experience in writing for more than 13 blogs at one time and current fully focus on 8 blogs. You check out his blog for more details.
