I did this, but it still isn’t showing a blog. I used GoDaddy to buy the domain and I used Hostgator to host it. When I did this, it still shows GoDaddy is parking it for free. How do I get around this?

I bought my Hosting account 2 months back and hesitated to setup my Blog as I don’t know how to do. Today I found your Site by Googling and I thank Google too to show your Site.

When I first started my wordpress blog, I found it a bit technical as I have got to configure the installation on cPanel. Before that, I was using a free blogger.com blog so I was quite confused with a self-hosted blog. Luckily, the installation was not too difficult and my blog was successfully installed. Steven, your screen shots are good for newbies to learn how to install a wordpress blog.

Tim Davis: Thanks for the great response to my post. I will consider your idea for my future post but firstly I need to study Joomla CMS as I never use it before. I started from Blogger and move to WordPress since the day one blog.
